As you can see I've base coated the flesh and put a coat on the, er, coat, puttees, and pants.
I'll apply a second coat and then move on to the rifle stocks and helmets.
And shhhh, don't tell anyone, but I'm kind of enjoying the change of pace painting smaller figures.
Nice looking figures. A change can apparently be as good as a rest..
ReplyDeleteI really do like these figures - I plan to pick up the Italians as well. I had not heard that expression before - but it certainly seems true.
DeleteI'm with Jack Tar, One of the reasons I persist with multiple periods, scales and rules.
ReplyDeleteI always envy those who enjoy just one scale and period, but certainly variety does help maintain enthusiasm (spice of life and all that).

ReplyDeleteThank you, Peter! The figures are very nicely sculpted and even just slopping on the base coat, it's relatively easy to avoid overlapping colors.
